Photographer’s Note

A trip in Dallol (see previous photographs) it is wonderful. But on top of that be able to go up on Erta Ale volcano and admire its lake of lava that of happiness. An extraordinary instant. This lake of 40 m of diameter is unless 30 m of us when we were there. Every visit is a surprise because its level moves persistently. We stayed three days to consider it and see marvellous things. Here a throw of lava going out of the croute of the lake. The surface was measured in 1230 °C.
