Photographer’s Note
This is a consumer goods stall in the center of Harar. It offers a wide variety of consumer products specifically for Ethiopian needs.
Of course these may seem like not much for us, but in a country with an overwhelmingly rural population dedicated mainly to subsistence agriculture, these goods are precious. For many people the opportuniy to taste a soft drink or eat a package of biscuits is an opportunity to vary their typical diet based only of injera. (spongelike bread made of teff, a local cereal)

Bonsoir Daniel
très jolies ces teintes bleu de part et d'autre de la compo. Cela apporte un beau cadre naturel. Excellente netteté également
Bravo

Salut Daniel,
What a poor life going every where in the world. Here is also no different scene in many places better then there. Your recognitions are excellent in your note. I’m very surprised when I saw a people a soft drink on hand or biscuits. He’s daily income is not enough for them and the small pack of biscuits are not enough to get full. Can you see seller face and proud looks from him? 100 % same story. Congratulations.
Friendly Regards,
Parbo

Bonsoir Daniel,
Super tilt, it works great.
Framing is just perfect, giving great balance between indoor and outdoor.
A good job,

Salut Daniel,
bon encadrement de ce vendeur.
Bien exposé, les détails sont présents dans les ombres malgré le fort contraste.
J'aime bien la balance :)

Great cadrage with that delicate tilt and great lightning.
Great, a little perfidious title.
Great quality!

Nice tilted view, Daniel, from that place where the poet Rimbaud spent so much time doing bad things... Fine picture, excellent, purposeful note to go with. A strong package.
Best,
Francis

Daniel: whatever the tilt does here, what I notice are the details. It's an entertaining comp for sure... c

Great compsotion. The tilt adds a lot to the genral feeling of decay and disorder. Lovely colours. Good job!

SAlut Daniel,
Bonne journee,
Jean-Yves

Hi Daniel
Good shot which gives us an insight into the nature of consumer goods in Ethiopia. The store does look simple but the goods are no doubt a life line. I like the slanted effect of the composition too. The girl's expression is a little sad but the shot delivers good impact and detail. Well done.
Aubrey
