As much as half of all the food produced in the world – equivalent to 2bn tonnes – ends up as waste every year, between 30% and 50% or 1.2-2bn tonnes of food produced around the world never makes it on to a plate.
Ethiopia has one of the highest child malnutrition rates in the world.
It is a world full of paradoxs....

Indeed Ethiopia is a very poor country, but the government would have to them change policy.
You shows perfect the people and the misery in a very well picture, really colourfully

A very common view in the developing world. It's not a pretty sight but this is an interesting and informative photo and the stunning colours of late afternoon (or maybe early morning) make it quite irresistible. It would have been nice to see the same boys in the same colours in a playground.

a very well composed photograph with a powerful message,a picture speaks a thousand words it is said.
The brightly saturated colours add extra impact to the busy scene. Well done.
Best regards Les.

Not a beautiful thing to see but surely a very good photo that shows the reality of our world, something really useful. Ethiopia is on my list for a long time!
