J'ai l'impression de voir ici un endroit sacré. J'aime beaucoup le détail de ce mur avec ses croix gravés. On dirait une église sculptée directement dans le roc. J'aime bien aussi que le moine soit présent mais tenu à une certaine distance comme s'il se trouvait dans son monde sans intrusion du photographe dans celui-ci.

Fascinating shot. The colours in the rock are lovely and you've caught the monk with good expression and movement. A very interesting subject.

The light and detail on the rock is very good, and it is nice that the light fills the caves. The posture of the monk, walkng away but looking back at you, fits the diagonal lines, created by the stone steps. A classic TE shot, and not what many of us would think of when we hear the word "church". It reminds me of the cave temples in India.

This is just excellent. I really like the negative space around the subject and the wide DOF to let us see the background clearly. His placement in the frame is superb as well. Nothing really to add or change here. Wonderful shot!

Belle harmonie de dégradés dans les tons ocres. Ce moine s'intègre très bien au paysage. L'image est d'une netteté impaccable. Belle réussite.

Evocative image. I wonder if a different angle or depth of field would have give better prominence to the crosses carved in the wall. For me, these are key elements to the context of the shot.
