Photographer’s Note
Ethiopian pilgrim in Lalibela, holy place for Ethiopian Orthodox church. Covered heads of women are tradition in most Orthodox churches.
Lalibela, Etiopia. Przykryte głowy kobiet, najczęściej ubranych na biało, to tradycja sięgająca początków chrześcijaństwa i wciąż w Etiopii respektowana.

Hi Swiatek. I do like this photo for its stark composition and strong impression of belief. Quite a powerful composition- a person on a spiritual journey, with no distractions. Regards, Klaudio.

i have the strange feeling of seeing a momie laying on the ground in a tomb! except the angle makes me realize she is standing and walking! amazing! and those colors are so special and subtle! still an amazing photo swiatek! i frankly do not understand how come your photos do not get more recognition, you are one of the best photographers of this site IMO!

Hi Nygus, Congrat's for this strong composition. Very simple, therefore very strong. Love the contrast of textures, colors and of course, the humanity exuding throughout. Great job. --amz
