Ethiopia is one of the poorest countries in the world, and many people, having nothing to spend but time, spend it sitting around. I had spotted this group of men doing just that and was setting up to take their picture, when this woman in modern dress walked past the men, and they all turned to watch her. Stare at her would be the better term.
Was it because she was wearing modern dress, or just because she was a woman? Either would account for the look of long-suffering determination on her face. And either would account for why this has been a difficult picture for me, which I suppose makes it worth sharing here for that reason alone.
Technical: Cropping, Levels, Sharpening. The usual.

The story is told in the stares of the men. It's a shame she is not totally sharp.
