Photographer’s Note
Walk from Ambaras to Imet Gogo viewpoint
Easy walk with slight gap of height
along yellow grass meadows
admist a lot of giant lobelias trees
(lobelia rhynchopetalumlobelie).
Sometime a sudden flight
of a hammergeyer in the sky.
Warm high mountain sun
but always together with a fresh wind.
As we approach
to the Imet Gogo's mountain spurs
the path went down and run alongside
overhanging rocks marked
by everlasting flowers.
Then it's time to climb up steeply
treading on low yellow bushes.
Luckily it's sunny.
On the way a meeting with gelada baboons
in correspondence of the high part
of the rock formation of the Imet Gogo.
Now the way is easier
but grey clouds formations
are now sailing the sky
and it's colder now...
As we caught up the viewpoint
of Imet Gogo (3.926 mt)
the sun appears at times
enlightning the below 360 degrees panorama
and warming the hearts too.

Hi Luca!
I envy you for having so much time for travel. Can I start working in yoiur bank????
This composition is great ,I think the best you could do with this difficult lightconditions. An interesting foreground and nice blueish tones of the landscape in the distance.
Regards,Leo
Isn`the behavior of the Myanamr government a shame......My heart is with these poor homeless people

Ciao Luca. A most ancient looking land. Those hills/mountains look so weathered, so mysterious. Amazing atmosphere with the haze and the forms of rock just emerging out of the soil. great idea to include the sharply defined grass and the rocks whose shapes are echoed in the distance. Regards. Klaudio.

Hi Luca
Très beau POV les couleurs de l 'avant plan réchauffe cette atmosphère bleutée du ciel.
Avec le polarisant cela amplifie bien le contraste du ciel.

What a picture! Stunning views! The slight polarizing effect is just rightm it seems - darking the sky, but not too much. The place is very scenic and the haze makes it look a wonderland which Ethiopia, sadly, is certainly not. Thank you for sharing the potential business opportunity for Ethiopia: the unique landscape. Wishes, Tom.
