i think this is a very interesting idea but it is lacking in focus. you needed to have more of the oxen in the foreground, and in focus, and maybe a shorter depth of field so the men in the background were slightly blurred? the black and white is a great idea though.

I don't agree that the men in the background should be blurred. The opposite, there is a juxtaposition of men and animals here, only unfortunately the animal's heads are cut out of the frame.

this is an amazing shot, artistic, powerful and your POV is very moving. too bad it wasnt appreciated here. your framing really adds to the shot. you show us the cows, with its owners in a scene we rarely see during this age and time. I LOVE IT!!
