| Other great temple in South Nilo, the Philae Temple, very old and with the charm of being in an island. Temple dedicated to Isis. Dam construction caused the island to be covered by the waters of Lake Nasser, and in the 1970s and 1980s its structures were moved to another nearby island. |

Nice picture and nice explanations
Hi Ricardo,
very pleasant photo and an exhaustive note. It is a pity that the reflection is not complete: it would have been better to capture a bit less of sky to have a more balanced composition. Anyway it was worth posting such a timeless architecture. Thanks, Dario.
PS1 The strong lighting of egyptian sun has to be difficult to manage.
PS2 I'll post a WS to show what I mean.
