Photographer’s Note

In Cairo there are about four hundred mosques. Two hundred and fifty of them have minarets, others have domes. They make the view of Islamic Cairo from above quite interesting, but apart from them, satellite dishes are what stand out the most, popping out from every roof like white flies.
