[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I captured this sunset overlooking the Nile River and a portion of Cairo's skyline.

I liked the way the sunbeams seem to kiss the sky behind the silhouette of the city. The lower portion of the shot might be a bit dark, but I wanted to show the effect of the sky as best I could and darkened the picture up a bit, so more of the sun's rays could be seen.

It was a nice day and a lovely sunset to end the day too! :o)

The view is very nice here. I think the silhouettes of the buildings frame the sunrays very well. Using a polarizer would enhance the colours nicely or you could just increase the saturation of the orange colours in post-processing to create a more dramatic effect. Overall a very nice image.
