I was snorkeling in Ras Samadai Reef, maybe it was my lucky day : suddenly the dolphins came to me and swimmed with me for a while... I took this shot with a cheap waterproof "disposable" camera and was lucky enough to catch these two dolphins, even if the framing is not perfect. The colors are natural, thanks to the light and very clear water.
Ras Samadai is a Reef located in the Red Sea near Marsa Alam. It is well known for the dolphins living there : the reef is a protected lagoon where the baby dolphin use to grow up.
Last year, the increasing number of boats bringing thousands of swimmers every day became a real danger for the dolphins living there. Fortunately, a project of national park with restricted access was accepted. It is now possible to dive and swim but some parts of the lagoon are no longer accessible, and the number of tourists and time spent in the lagoon are limited.

Wow.. how lucky you are. I did touch dolpins once at Sea World, FLA, and was so excited (needless to say, I was at the time quite younger that I am now), imagining swimming with dolpins is really a nice thought...
