[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
As an Egyptology fanatic, I felt really priviliged visiting the country of this fascinating civilisation. Once there, I learned that also present day Egypt is definitely worth the trip. These Feluka's that have been there for ages, really give the Nile this lovely atmosphere. In the front you can also sand banks of which there are quite a lot on some parts of the Nile. On a trip with a little motorboat, we felt the boat sliding over the Nile floor. We actually started the trip on one of these Feluka's, but as there wasn't enough wind and we were stuck in the middle of the Nile, a guy with a motorboat was called so that we could all transfer and continue the trip.
