the mortuary temple of queen hatshepsut,deir el-bahari ,taken from the heights of djebel on the treck over the hill to valley of the kings.this temple is considered by some the finest in egypt and one of the great architectural masterpieces of the world.built in 1450s BC it looks better from a distance the interior detail is not as good as many in egypt and the number of tourists is extreme.

A wellknown view. I visited it just a week or two before the horrible terrorist attack in 1997, which killed lots of tourists. The place looked so peaceful when I was there and your photo, also showing a peaceful place, is very good, and shows the surroundings very well.
