Photographer’s Note
The coast of southern Sinai near Sharm el Sheik is famous for the underwater beauty of the coral reefs that abound there. The hotels have floating jettys allowing you to jump into the Red Sea without touching the reef, and tourists are strictly forbidden to walk into the ocean from the beach, because every step would destroy a bit of a fragile ecosystem that really must be maintained, not only for its beauty, but also for the rich cuisine it offers to the fish. But the Egyptian workers constructing the hotels along the coast do not have access to the jetties - and they also need a refreshing swim after a hard day's work. So they simply walk into the sea over the corals. As most of us are used to and always have been doing wherever we come from. And can you blame them?

Hello Per -
This is a beautiful travel image, the Egypian travel authority should buy this one. It is a well composed image with the two boys (?) adding some foreground interest to beautiful sunset. If it was me I would try to brighten the village just touch. Well done!
Thank you for sharing

I've seen many a photo on TE taken under similar conditions and the vast majority of them don't turn out very well because proper exposure in a shot like this can be difficult. You have managed to keep enough detail in the buildings and color in the sky at the same time. The swimmers are positioned well. Nice job.

Hi Per, long time no see;-) You have even been less active than me.
This is wonderful. The horizontal layering and the golden sky and the mountains is so nice. The people swimming in the foreground are well placed in the frame and the water that jumps up, is a nice detail.

Hi Per, I am happy to find you here again.
This is a very good one, an "out of africa" picture that make us dream. Good colors and depth, this is beautiful

Hi Per, nice to see you around. This is a quite beautiful shot; the swimming folks are well placed in the lower corner and even at a distance their relaxation and exhilaration seems to be well conveyed. Of course the sunset colors in the sky and their subtle reflections on the water are essential for the ambience of the photo. Fine notes, too.
