Photographer’s Note
I have included this photograph because it is rather unusual. What you can see is a Mosque built on top of part of the ancient temple in Luxor in Egypt. Why such an unusual place about 15 ft from the ground? - well the story is that the temple had been unused for hundreds of years and the sand filled the temple up to the base of the mosque (the blue line at the bottom of the mosque). This was the level when the mosue was built. During the twentieth century the temple has been excavated leaving the mosque "up in the air". The mosque is still used and is itself currently being renovated (you can just see the scafolding around the dome on the top right hand side).

I can well imagine the light in Egypt isn't the best to expose for, but you have done an excellent job here. I like the delicate pastel colours. Well composed from a close but low POV. Funny situation described in your note. I expect they will have to build some steps to the high doors.
Goiod to hear from you again
