Photographers Note
The Egyptians were very fond of obelisks, and they were originally placed in pairs at the entrance of temples. There are 27 Egyptian obelisks left, (and an unfinished one in Aswan), and they are now spread around the world - Paris, London, 11 in Italy, Israel, Turkey and the USA, and 8 still left in Egypt. This is the one from the Luxor temple.

David: spectacular use of DOF and vanishing point. The shot has a great film-saturated tone too. The moon is a nice touch. great one. regards, c
