La barque solaire de Khéops
La barque solaire est un objet symbolique de la mythologie égyptienne. Pour les Égyptiens de l'Antiquité, le cycle perpétuel du lever et du coucher du soleil est comparable au cycle de la vie et de la mort. Ainsi, chaque matin le soleil naît à l'orient, croît jusqu'au zénith, puis vieillit jusqu'à l'occident où il disparaît dans le royaume des morts. Ce voyage diurne, le dieu solaire Rê le fait à bord d'une barque appelée "mandjet". C'est aux commandes d'une autre barque, appelée "mesektet" qu'il entame son périple souterrain et traverse les douze heures de la nuit avant de pouvoir renaître au matin.
Enfouie depuis environ 5000 ans, la barque funéraire de Khéops ne fut découverte qu'en 1954 au pied de sa pyramide. La barque, en bois de cèdre, munie de tout son outillage - rames, cordes et cabine - comprenait 1224 pièces détachées. Elle mesure 43,5 m de long, sa proue s'élève à 5 m et sa poupe à 7 m. Elle est actuellement exposée dans le musée situé exactement à l'endroit où elle a été trouvée.

Kheops solar boat
The solar boat is a symbolic system object of Egyptian mythology. For the Egyptians of Antiquity, the perpetual cycle of the sunrise and the sunset is comparable with the cycle of the life and death. Thus, each morning the sun is born with the East, grows until the zenith, then ages to the occident where it disappears in the kingdom of deaths. This diurnal travel, Re, the solar god, does it on board a boat called "mandjet". It is with the orders of another boat, called "mesektet" which it starts its underground tour and crosses the twelve hours of the night before being able to reappear in the morning.
Hidden since approximately 5000 years, the funerary boat of Kheops was discovered only in 1954 at the foot of its pyramid. The boat, out of wood of cedar, provided with all its tools - oars, cords and cabin - included 1224 spare parts. It is 43,5 m long, its prow rises to 5 m and its poop to 7 m. It is currently exposed in the museum located exactly at the place where it was found.

Une vue assez différente de celle que j'avais postée à l'époque mais qui à l'avantage de bien nous montrer les détails de la barque et aussi du magnifique musée qui l'héberge, Je crois que la visite ce cet endroit m'avait encore plus impressionnée que les pyramides elles-mêmes.

You composed this picture in such a way it seems to be modern art all the lines radiating from the middle makes it superb thanks for sharing.

Je me souviens de celle postée par Brigitte et ici tu nous donnes une vision complètement différente de cette barque. Le graphisme donnée par l'architecture qui l'entoure est bien mis en valeur par ton POV. C'est excellent. Très jolies teintes également

C'est une photo qui est très difficile à faire, Jean-Pierre, j'en sais quelque chose et le pano de Bibiweb est une solution. Là, tu as bien su t'en tirer avec une bonne lumière et une vue 3/4 avant. Beau travail !
