Gerd - welcome to TE - like me I'm sure would will enjoy looking at other peolpes view of the world. Your notes on Luxor are very good. But your photo would have benefitted by the use of a tripod or resting your camera on a wall. I visited there this February and have some similar photoes taken at Luxor with a small tripod that I now always carry. This building is so good that a tripod would have given you a good image - your exposure is just right.

A bit unsharp but it gives a good impression of this huge temple complex. Regards, Huub

Nice night shot of the Sun court at Luxor temple, but a bit unsharped. You should have brought a tripod.

Hi Gerd,Nice image lovely warm colours but in line with other comments a small tripod would have made this nice image even better.

blurred image but truly captures the mystery that is Egypt. im an egypt freak too and dreaming of a trip soon. good capture Gerd!
Hey gerd, nice shot, coudl be a little less blurry but you dont always realise you have a blurry shot until you are home, and in this case I am sure it was too late!
Did you use a tripod is that why we have the blur?
Well done thoug good subject : )

The light gives it a good effect. The blur I guess adds to your pic. Would have loved it a bit sharper.

Hello Gerd
Beautiful photo from Luxor. I always wanted to see light and sound performance in the temple. I think this one was taken during one of them, am I right? The fact that photo is a bit blurred makes columns look like as if they were really on fire, I like it this way.
Take care, Wojtek
