Photographer’s Note
This photo was taken on the same trip as my other Egypt photos. This dog was happily sitting by the temple of Hatshepsut. I was surprised however, that I was the only one taking this photo oppurtunity. You would think at least one other person would try to take a picture of this dog sitting on the ruins. I thought I ought to share this with you as I enjoyed seeing the dog and thought you might as well.

I agree, this is a photo opportunity I wouldn't want to pass up. The composition is nice, dog makes it interesting.
Two things I have to say, consider posting bigger images, and work on the contrast, I find that in BW images it is important to have some blacks somewhere, and there are non in your image, the whole image seems washed out.
Usually I am not a big fan of fancy frames, but I find your old style type very interesting.

great eye, well done! i think you need to adjust the contrast though, to make it less hazy/grey.
