Photographer’s Note
This is the last picture that I took in Sinai, on our way back from Sinai desert to the Israeli border at the northern part of the gulf. There is an interesting new old style of architecture in that part of Egypt. They use old oriental motifs, but they give the buildings a modern touch. They always use colors of the desert - red, yellow and off-white. I took many pictures, but I like this one the most.
Added some grains to the sea.

Nice image Yitzhak..
I really like this type of composition for a landscape... Beautiful colors as well.
The grain doesn't bother me at all.

Wow, this is really good. I really like the lines created by the horizon, and where the sea meets land. Very good composition.

You've got some serious grain going on there, which i'm not opposed to, buti think this type of grain isn't quite what i would have picked, i'd prob use gaussian and it looks like the building doesn't have any grain...
But anyway, i like this idea for this shot, the clean layers and the curve of the land which we expect to see on the horizon but intead we have the curve of the mosque. Infact, the shape of land is an exaggeration of what we would expect the horizon to look like if we could see it all, i like that. Well done.

I like it too Yitzhak. The mix of the colors is great and the tower itself is very nice and not very usual in mosques, or so I think. Congratulations from Madrid.

Simple but efficiently made compo for this one, Itzik. The white mosque is well placed in the frame and contrasts nicely against the brown land as well as against the blue sea. Not sure about the grain (I tend to like it more in b&w's) but I respect your choice. Nice catch.

hi yitzhak, this is a very good reprzentation of the sinai pennsula scape; and indeed very well conveyed the colour of the land there;
this is a very religious bit of out earth and it is so well fostered by this picture;
thank you for sharing, j.

Excellent composition and colours, Yitzhak.
I really like that thin line between the sea and horizon (the grain helps here!).
The mosque stands out well as its bigger part stands nicely against that reddish and blue BG.
Nice shadows as well!
Thanks,
Robi

Hi Yitzhak
I like the grain in this image, but would remove the scratch near the horizon. A simple, minimalist, composition, that works well. Good color & lighting. Well done!

Bonjour Yitzhak,
J'aime ce petit côté ancien avec ce grain sur la photo.
Des couleurs qui rappellent certaines diapositives.
Une prise de vue dont l'originalité ne m'a pas échappé !
Très bien vu.

I'm not sure the grain does much to this photo, Yitzhak, but what a wonderful photo! The simplicity of the tower combined with your point of view really make this special. So nice.

Hi Yitzhak,
I find that style interesting, but unfortunately only half-heartedly implemented at some times, I have seen some (imo) tacky examples. There is a similar trend in China.
I like the grainy look, it gives the picture some interesting texture, although artificial. The minaret looks nice against the sea, the white, the red and the blue are good together, and the shapes are nice.

Simple, stylish and effectful compo of this place Yitzhak. Grand seascape setting that I like a lot. (Some grains in there - too much enlargening?)

Bonjour Yitzhak
Je n'avais jamais vu cette architecture de mosquée en Egypte.
J'apprécie ce style contrairement aux horrible immeubles à proximité des pyramides.
Le cadrage est original et j'apprécie le contraste par rapport à l'arrière-plan.
Hello Yitzhak
I had never seen this architecture of mosque in Egypt before. I appreciate this style contrary to the horrible buildings near the pyramids. Framing is original and I appreciate contrast compared to the background.
