A moment of quiet contemplation on the roof of the Mosque of Amir Qurqumas. This photograph was taken from the top of one of the minarets.

The mosque is located in an area called the Northern Cemetery where houses are built next to and sometimes around the tombs.

Jonathan, wonderful shot here. The POV is what makes it, but the sharpness, contrast, compo, all very nice. Good work,

Cool POV! Very nice angles created by the walkway. I love the lonely person in the photo. That is perfect. The lighting is very nice too. JP

Really like this composition - the zig zag diagonals in the foreground leading to the dome and dividing the scene into different areas - the solitary person on the roof, the grean courtyard and the crowded city behind. Good Work!

Jonathan, cette photo est très bien construite avec ces obliques qui traversent la photo pour mener le regard d'un point à l'autre. La présence de l'homme est un plus et le jeu de la lumière et de l'ombre donne un relief impressionnant.

Great capture from an amazing vantage POV. The architecture is quite interesting and that dome is fascinating. I love your composition with the diagonal lines of the square across the image and that lonely guy is a great addition, no doubt about it.
