Photographers Note
I wanted to go back to my unforgetable memories with this dream country, Egypt. I also wanted to begin with the banks of the Nile.
These two lovely kids were playing and chatting at the moment in full concentration. They were not aware of us taking their photos. The place they are playing is a couple of meters away from the famous NILOMETER which is an engineering miracle when you consider it's been built too many hundreds of years ago.
The Nile has not such sad only but it also has wonderful scenes. Hopefully I'll be posting a couple of them too.
Note : This scanned photo is taken in 1997.

A very impressive foto, Bulent.
It's a window to real life, hard and beautiful at the same time. The blurred bars form a virtual border, giving the feeling to stand outside; perfect!
Nice to see you back, I'm realy curious, how your next pic's will look like, please go on posting!

Hi Bulent, it was a while ago, wellcome back. Nice photo, I like the bars in the foreground, they give a sense of distance and seclusion; only the girls and the Nile and I like the facial expressions of the girls. Looking forward for more Egypt photos from you.
Regards, Christian

Oh - a bit candid atmosphere you got on this image - the bars and the nice kids makes the image fine to watch - even polution not nice.

Hi Bulent
It is good to see a fresh upload from you. This is an excellent daily life shot from Cairo. Unfortunately, it looks as though the Nile River is heavily polluted :-(
Well managed dof, & I like the framing of the 2 women with the o.o.f. bars. Good shot!

Hello my friend Bulent,
Merci.
Amitiés.

Hey Bulent, I see picture from you again, that's nice, my friend !
It's a pity of the bars, but I really like this "daily life" scene with the textures, colours and expressions of these children in their own neighbourhood, a good shot !

Hello Bulent
I dont know what you find beautiful in such image?
As far as I understand, Photographing is all about capturing beautiful or unusual scenes and reprsinting it as long as they dont offend our eyes. what is the meaning of Beauty? Is photographing the dirtiest place on banks on river Nile a part of art ? is this what you Like about the great Nilometer ?
I really find this photo very offensive.
