This picture is quite similar to my previous post and it has been taken too in the dunes of Karaween. I think the vertical format is the best for this kind of picture.

contiuning this fine series of sand-dunes; this one is in my eyes also a great one, like specially the great depth in this endless landscape of dunes and sand, you can look until the horizon, and you see nothinf the millions of sandcorns..

I wish I had the chance to viist Karaween while I was in Egypt - at least i can visit it through your beautiful photos.

Je confirme, ce format vertical me convient bien. Je trouve qu il donne plus de profondeur et permet de mieux exploiter le premier plan. Mais je suis sur que tu trouveras quelqu un qui pourrait te dire le contraire :-)
J ai jeter un coup d oeil sur le descriptif de ce voyage. C est vrai qu il a l air pas mal (confirmé aussi par tes photos). Par contre 270km en 11j, ca fait de belle journée de marche. Ca me rappelle mon trek en Mauritanie il y a quelques années.

Hi Stephane,
I will be in Morocco in a few months, there will have some similar sand dune, I hope to experience the immense and vast desert like you shown here. Beautiful and lovely sand pattern, the vastess of the desert gives a strong sense of solitude and melancholid mood, the vertical format allow and provides so much depth to this composition.

quelle belle galerie de paysages ! j'aime particulièrement la série de dunes en Egypte, grâce à cet ingénieux format vertical bien encadré. C'est un repos pour les yeux d'admirer les ondulations du sable au premier plan. Belles couleurs et joli équilibre entre le ciel et la terre, bien vu !
