After supporting the hard sun of Egypt in the summer season, we went to the coast to enjoy the beautiful and transparent blue water of the Red Sea.
We went to Hurghada, at the left side of the coast of the Red Sea, one of the best places in the world (like Sharm El Sheik, at the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula), to practice the diving and snorkelling.
The sea is smooth and warm and there are a lot of different species of fishes.
Generally the boats to the reefs are well organized and not expensive. We toke on of them, and we visit three coral reefes.
We only had time for one full day snorkelling, but it was fantastic.
We could see a lot of corals, and fishes of all colours and dimensions, incredible! but we also could see that an important part of the coral has been badly damaged by inconsiderate divers, snorkellers and also the anchors of the boats.

I toke this photo from our boat, almost exactly as this one. I like the contrast of the white boat with the blue tones of the sea and the sky, what do you think about it?

Después de estar soportando el duro sol de Egipto en la estación de verano, fuimos a la costa para disfrutar las maravillosas y transparentes aguas azules del Mar Rojo.
Estuvimos en Hurgada, al lado izquierdo de la costa del Mar Rojo, uno de los mejores lugares del mundo, (igual que Sharm El Sheik, en la punta mas al sur de la Península del Sinaí), para practicar el submarinismo y el buceo.
El mar está muy calmado y cálido, y hay muchas especies diferentes de peces.
Generalmente los barcos para ir a los arrecifes están bien organizados y no son caros. Cogimos uno de ellos y visitamos tres arrecifes de corales. Solo tuvimos tiempo para bucear un día entero, pero fue fantástico. Pudimos ver muchos corales y peces de todos colores y tamaños, increíble! pero también pudimos ver que una parte importante de los corales ha estado seriosamente dañado por buceadores inconsiderados y también por las anclas de las barcas.
Tomé esta foto desde nuestro barco, casi igual que este. Me gusta el contraste del barco blanco con las tonalidades azules del mar y el cielo, qué pensáis?
