What a sight! I am surprised that this place is not swarming with people, although some people would have helped determine the scale.
You have chosen a fine pov with the sphinx setting the boundary and the the steps guiding towards the the pyramid.

I like the composition here with the eyes being taken in an invisible diagonal from the sphinx to the pyramid in the background. Good colours and excellent sharpness throughout.

Hi Achim,

This is an impressive view of the pyramid and of the sphinx. The point of view is showing with precision the details and colors of the pyramid and of the sphinx. The subject is well framed. There is some noise or grain in the sky, I will try a WS later. There is a good contrast between the colors of the sky and the colors of the great place. Have a nice day.

Amazing to catch this famous scene with no people. On the whole the negative has scanned well although there is pixellation in the sky. The colours look natural and well rendered.

I would gaussian blur the sky, to mask the pixellation. A superb shot of this iconic duo, with good sharpness & reasonable framing. If possible, I would have included the entire Sphinx & Pyramid, by stepping back, or using a wider angled lens. Tfs!

Olá Achim, this brings me good memories. Your old photo with more than 10 years shows me a diferent place, as if they were just starting with restaurations. And it's also very empty of tourists which is great. Excellent balance between the two main monuments.
