Philae (Greek: Φιλαί) or Pilak or P'aaleq (Egyptian: remote place or the end or the angle island) or Arabic: أنس الوجود‎, Anas el Wagud, is an island in the Nile River and the previous site of an Ancient Egyptian temple complex in southern Egypt. The complex was dismantled and relocated to an nearby island when the building of the Aswan Dam threatened to flood the site.

quelles belles couleurs de teintes dorées d'un lieu mythique et historique, les peinture et scuptures ne ressemblent pas a celle de la vallée des merveilles!

Ciao luciano, wonderful island of Philae. Interesting colours but maybe I would prefer a bit lighter. Splendid ancient architecture. Impressive pylons.
It is so nice to see all this Egyptian monuments. It reminds me my trip, we were in the same places (like most tourists). TFS!

bella inquadratura...vedo le tue foto egiziane e mi vengono in mente quelle che sto trovando su un libro che parla dei pionieri della fotografia. L'inquadratura è essenziale e l'occhio cade su quei segni così affascinanti, anche grazie al modo in cui hai manipolato le luci. Bravo!

La tua foto è bellissima, con un cielo di zaffiro, contro il quale svetta la mole superba degli antichi edifici. Angoscioso é vedere quelle figure umane inglobate nella pietra. Forse perché io ne conosco la storia: millenni fa erano uomini e donne con un cuore pulsante e il sangue che scorreva svelto nelle loro vene. Poi... chi per una ragione, chi per un'altra disobbedirono al crudele Faraone, che li fece murare vivi in quelle due mastodontiche torri. E volle che, per rammentare a chiunque il suo durissimo castigo, quegli uomini e quelle donne fossero raffigurati sulla facciata.
Ehi...Luciano? Questa storia me la sono inventata adesso!!! Sono matta, vero? In ogni modo, la tua foto é very impressive!

cio Lucia',
nel giro delle mie critiche, questa volte notturne, non poteva mancare una visita alla tua galleria egizia sara' perche' mi piace la storia di questo popolo con i suoi misteri e le sue mezze verita'.
Rimango sempre colpito dalla luce che riesci a dare a questi scatti e all'atmosfera che riesci a riportare.
