Photographer’s Note

Philae (Greek: Φιλαί) or Pilak or P'aaleq (Egyptian: remote place or the end or the angle island) or Arabic: أنس الوجود‎, Anas el Wagud, is an island in the Nile River and the previous site of an Ancient Egyptian temple complex in southern Egypt. The complex was dismantled and relocated to an nearby island when the building of the Aswan Dam threatened to flood the site.

Bonjour Luciano,
une photo remarquablement travaillée pour obtenir ces lumières exotiques et cette végétation qui ressort très bien.
Le bateau est un peu centré, mais comme cela au moins, il ne cache pas la pierre derrière.
J'aurais peut-être cadré un peu plus à droite.

devo dire che questa foto e' a livello inferiore delle precedenti(lo sai che sono sincero nei giudizi) trovo tutto troppo al centro della scena e anche il lavoro di pp non mi sembra perfetto, stavolta ti becchi un 7

Jolie présentation . le bateau est presque parfaitement placé . Un peu plus sur la droite , cela aurait été encore mieux . Mais il faut faire vite . Très beau contraste avec les pierres jaunes et la végétation . le ciel me parait un peu mauve (?)

sono d'accordo con Giorgio sulla PP...però la composizione non mi pare troppo centrata, insomma, il monumento svetta bene in alto, sulla sinistra e credo che la barchetta bilanci in qualche modo la composizione. Bene così!

The composition is very eye-catching and wonderful, with the moving boat, the ruins and the vegetation very well placed in the frame!

Belle lumière!
Beau contraste de couleurs entre les vieilles pierres du fond et la barque en avant plan!

Comme d'autres l'on déjà dit, le bateau aurait pu être moins central (mais c'est un détail), ta photo est bien composée.

Un'altra bella vista con una punto di vista ben scelto ed una buona equilibrata nella composizione. Bei riflessi nel acqua, bella armonia nei colori. Le personne danno un'bello elemento di vità.

Uff, Luciano...non badare a quei due "precisini" e perfezionisti che sono Giorgio e Roberto! La foto é bellissima, ha una luce incantevole. E mi piace tanto il forte contrasto tra l'austera, severa mole della struttura archeologica e la barca che se ne va navigando tutta allegra. Tra l'altro su acque dai magnifici riflessi. Bravo!

Very well composed picture: the columns, the palmtree, the passing boat.
I also like the colours of and the light on the ruins of the famous temple and the vegetation along the Nile.

Hi Luciano, wonderful island of Philae. Good shot but try to make more realistic HDR without overexposure. The sharpness is OK.
