Detail of a facade of one of the many new hotels under construction on the coast of the Red Sea, a continuous invasion of cement dictated by tourism. Although I could see that the Egyptians of today are not good at building as their ancient predecessors...

Hello Luciano

A nicely composed shot emphasising pattern and shape. Good use of light and shadow. I like the way the orange lines stagger to inteerupt the uniformity of the pattern. Well observed.

A nicely presented graphical composition. I like the lighting and the repeating curves of the balconies, which have a very sensuous feel about them. Interesting light and shadow play and very good clarity.

è un vero peccato sapere da dove deriva questa bella foto.
Il taglio, con le sue geometrie, le luci e le ombre che hai catturato, sono molto belle, meno bello è il contesto.

Hi Luciano,
Reallyo well seen for such an everyday scene, the effect of the shadows is cool, making those semi circular shapes, and the orange and white do look really good together. An investing note too, your comment about building standards in ancient Egypt compared to modern does indeed give pause for thought as we see these concrete piles appear everywhere.

Nice repetition and geometry here, Luciano, with a shift in the middle that adds some tension to the shot. Lots of nice shapes to pay attention to here, including the round shadows cast by the balconies themselves. Excellent brightness and color. Thanks!

Un très bon cadrage qui te permet de créer une image très graphique à partir de cet immeuble en construction. le jeu des lignes et des couleurs est excellent mais j'aime aussi beaucoup l'apport des ombres en quart de cercle.

nice the view of the facade of the vew building that is found under construction creates a good texture.
Old Egyptians had not tourists so they have not problems about new buildings,but only with the building of pyramids.

Some people makes picture from windows or
doors and a wall, you will do the same but
with a lots extra. The close up of the
flat makes the viewers curious:" how would
the whole building look like?" I like also
the composition: it's in symmetry and
also not and that makes the picture
exciting....good work.

Hai ragione, questo moderno concrete jungle e' molto diverso dai capolavori degli egiziani antichi. Ma hai catturato un del suo fascino. Mi piacciono molto il gioco tra luce ed ombra ed il suo grafismo. Il taglio stretto ha accentuato bene questa grafismo. Una foto minimalista ed artistica, dove hai fatto un po' di magia: creando una cosa bellissima da una cosa banale. Complimenti e ti auguro una bella serata.

Despite the conformity, your photograph has used the regularity to good advantage, creating a very pleasing, geometric pattern, sharp and with excellent use of the light and shadows.

Hi Luciano,

Excellent shot. I love the reapeated forms and shapes. Perfectly horizontal and vertical line everywhere. Very impressive because it is usually very difficult to avoid distortions. TFS and have a nice Sunday afternoon!

I love patterns and shapes, and this one covers both...and quite well I might add. I like that the symmetry is just off center, actually makes it more interesting. Great exposure on this one, everything is in fine focus and detail. The vertical orange colored supports stand out well. Wonderful shot!

tuviste un buen ojo para ver que con este encuadre ibas a captar el fuerte grafismo de los balcones de este edificio en construcción, para crear una imagen muy potente y con una geometría muy interesante.
Me gusta el efecto de la luz y las sombras sobre el conjunto, que aumenta la sensación tridimensional de tu composición.

Je vois le symbole de l'individualisme de l'ère Twitter et Facebook représenté par ces cages de béton qui empêchent la communication entre voisins de palier .
Bravo pour avoir su éviter le piège de tons blancs surexposés sur le motif répétitif de la structure qui comose un tableau attrayant.
