This is superb Izzet, really atmospheric!
Shooting into the light has transformed it into an essentially monochrome image, and it works well.
Only the darkness on the right of the frame disturbs slightly, but I don't think it matters too much.
Excellent work.

This is a stunning picture. The overhanging palms give the feeling of creating a sort of tunnel the children and walking and running though. It captures the atmosphere and the feeling of the moment extremely well. congrats, great take.

The sense of atmosphere in this is incredible, because of the backlighting and the dust we can almost see in 3 dimensions. Nice grouping of the children too, which seems very natural and lively. Well done!

This is THE BEST photo I have seen today on TE. The composition is flawless. The dust gives a wonderful allover misty atmosphere, the color is absolutely superb, and the arch/circle that the tree makes is simply wonderful ( with 1 L)

This is so wonderful .. these children hurrying towards us out of this golden mist .. really thoughtful image .. beautiful as well. The interaction of bright and dark is striking .. the diffuse textures are really wonderful as well.

When I see things from your archives Izzet I often feel a bit of nostalgia for film. SOmetimes hard to quite duplicate some qualities digitally. THe range of tones here is magnificent, and so well captures the beautiful light on the scene.

Cette photo m'a sauté aux yeux, c'est celle qui me parle le plus dans votre page de récentes photos, et puis j'ai lu la critique et c'est amusant, j'ai travaillé comme "G.O." dans cette organisation pendant quelques 14 années, G.O. ski et excursions et par hasard, j'ai fait un intérim entre le Sénégal et la Turquie (Kusadasi) en avril-mai 1986, entre le Caire et les bâteaux sur le Nil et les avions, nous nous sommes peut être rencontrés !

... Probablement pas, il y avaient parfois jusqu'à 80 ou 90 personnes à bord et nous devions être au moins 4 tour leaders, si je me souviens bien !

... Mais cette photo... J'ai vu une pareille lumière dans le nord de la Birmanie et aussi en Thailande, - quant à l'Egypte, je ne m'en souviens plus, on avait des horaires d'enfer et on croulait sous les soucis et le travail et la "tourista"...

Il y a une atmosphère merveilleuse ici, ces enfants ont l'air de courir vers nous et j'aime ce beau cercle de lumière laissé par la végétation...
