Paysage lunaire assez sublime dans cette présentation panoramique. Bonne suggestion de l'ambiance particulière (je suppose !)de ce type de lieu dont la grandeur et la beauté s'imposent fortement à ceux qui s'en remplissent les yeux....et le capteur via l'objectif.

Hello Yves - The warm light and pastel palette is so attractive here. I love desert landscapes and here you have captured the sculpted rock forms beautifully. By using the long lens and compacting the distance between the FG formations and those behind the image has an attractive layered quality. Warm regards Rosemary

davvero incredibile ciò che ci proponi in questa tua foto.
Sembra di vedere il deserto dell'Arizona scolorito :)
Sconoscevo questo posto.
Pensavo che l'Egitto fosse soltanto piramidi e templi.

E' proprio vero che grazie alla fotografia e questo sito è possibile conoscere meglio il mondo e questa foto è nel totale spirito di TE ed è eseguita bene.

This is a place (one of the very many) I would like to visit.
I love this unreal landscape, and I like the soft light. You correctly resisted (I suppose) to the temptation, using photoshop, to increase the contrast, that would have been the default using the automatic level adjustment.

Quite a surrealistic feeling that I get from looking at your shot and that haze with the formations appearing through in the second plane of your shot adds to this effect. I don't know why, but I think that Salvador Dali would have liked this landscape. I love those various shapes and sizes of the formations.

En très grand format elle doit en jeter un max celle ci!!!
Un paysage irréel, un point de vue bien trouvé avec ce premier plan très séduisant, une belle profondeur avec les différents plans et une exposition parfaitement gérée. Il y avait un peu de brume de chaleur non? Tu l'as prise à quelle heure celle ci?

molto bella questa immagine quasi lunare (in fondo la luna assomiglia ad un deserto), con la nitidezza dell'immagine che tende a sfumare progressivamente, proprio come fa l'occhio umano di fronte ai grandi paesaggi.
Mi piace molto la morbidezza dei toni e della luce.

Hi Yves,
Another strange and beautiful image of that desert. Sidelight is perfect for showing shapes of those rock formations. Hazy air gives softer ambience than intense sunlight.

you have an interesting gallery but the thumbnail for this one attracted me because of its surreal quality.Your long lens has created a layered effect with pastel colours. It's a pity though that by zooming in the sky turns a greysh colour. But nonetheless, this is an attractive panorama.
