Photographer’s Note
This was taken a couple of kilometers outside Dakhla oasis. Donkey carts are common in town, but not so much "off road" like this, particularly since there are many sand dunes around. So I'm not sure where this gentleman, headed toward town, would have been coming from.
I was riding a camel when I took this shot, not exactly optimal for stability, but the 1/200 shutter served me well enough, it seems.

Hi Ken,
The superimposition of the subject against the emptiness is immediately striking. well done with the 1/200 it seems plenty sharp .. and very effective. take care, John

Hey, that is where my two donkeys went!!!
Gosh, it is really amazing to compare the two shots and see how alike the whole setting is! Though those donkeys walked a long long way, from the area around Khartoum - Sudan - all way up to Egypt :-).
A great shot and thanks for bringing it to my attention!
Greetings, Dennis
