These enormous papyrus columns, measuring 21 metres in height, stand just as magnificently in the Luxor Temple as they did 3500 years ago.

great HDR shot, almost a school-example of HDR
did you reach it with some specific software or technique, if so, can you describe me the tricks? :) If not, I guess it's about optics or so, a?

I think it's not a hdr myself, but I see why Marko thought it was - wonderful details you brought out, Julian, and this nice pov accentuates the 'eternity' subject. A great one!

Hello Julian,

This is a brilliant shot, the composition is very good with the high contrast. The PoV gives such grandeur to the shot. I couldnt resist doing a workshop to make use of the contrast.

Very well done

Hey Julian,
An amazing shot of this wonderful temple. I love the POV and the contrast between the sky and the columns. The formations of the clouds in the sky are lovely as well. Congratulations!!!

Natasha

Hi Julian, this photo is really interesting. I can imagine how tall these columns might be, but with the pov you chose, they seem to be huge. I would have sharpened it slightly.
Sabrina

Well done

Hi Julian!
Great shot with an interesting perspective.A very good exposure and composition and i like the contrast of this old architecture with this nice partly clouded sky.

A very impressive view of this structure - it must be amazing to see for real. Perfectly exposed... and the interesting sky makes it a great photo.
