The temple of Amon in Luxor is an Egyptian temple dedicated to the cult of Amon. Placed in the heart of old Thebes, it was built for the main part under the XVIIIth and XIXth dynasties. The oldest visible parts are from Amenhotep III and from Ramsès II.
