Photographer’s Note
It's Hatshepsut Temple, in Luxor, Egypt.
The building is an example of perfect symmetry that predates the Parthenon, and it was the first complex built on the site which would become the 'Valley of the Kings'.
Post processing: photoshop, photomatix, lightroom; a combination of these programs to get this pseudo HDR effect.

Hi David,
When I am faced with an image like yours, I don't really know what to say. I will simply take my hat off...
Your Egyptian gallery is amazing. I love the 'dune' series.

Hi DAvid
I'm glad you did not overdo the effect, result is quite nice on the rocks but some blue clothes on the people are quite flashy, nice comprehensive view of this impressive temple, we see you were not alone...
Have a nice day JY

Hi David,
Through your pictures I travel virtually through Egypt, thanks, that is cheaper then real travel, but I really would love to have the time to visit Egypt. Since my school days I'm very much interested in history, but look where I live today, Malaysia and Thailand, where history is very short in comparison with Egypt, India or China.
Coming back to your attraciv two-color picture, which produces a good contrast of reddish and blueish. Sharpness is fine as is DOF due to the tourist walking to the entrance of the temple. Also your note is very informative. Well done
Best regards
Urs

Hello David,
Intriguing art image of this Egyptian icon. Appealing for the golden tones and rock details surrounding the temple.
good job,

Hello David
The first thing i've noticed, is your choice to compose the walkway at the 2/3 mark, and not in the middle - which so many people would do, so great on you not to do so. It looks far better this way.
Nice light shining on the top of those peaks, and a clear attractive blue sky for contrast.
Overall a great shot.
thanks for sharing
