This is the rearview of the valley of the kings in Luxor/Theben.
From the temple of Hatschepsut you can climb the mountains on a small trail. It is rather arduous but the view(s) and the tranquility are more than worth it. On top you find a trail -about 10 km- that circles the valley of the kings. You find alabaster on the plateau and on the descent you can find lots of fossil shells.
And you see the small green band of the nile in the vast desert.
