[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
While in Luxor I took a hot air ballon trip on an early morning. We were up in the air shortly before sunrise and the view was stunning. Here we were can see the long road on the right side that leads to Deir el-Bahri (temples of Mentuhotep II, Hatshepsut) Behind it in the mountains are the valley of the Kings and to the left a little the Valley of the Queens. Further left is the Deir el-Medina (workers' village)
and the valley of the Nobles. The large rectangular area at "7:00" is the Ramesseum, the memorial temple of Pharaoh Ramesses II The picture was taken about 15 minutes after the sunrise Taken with my new sigma 12mm-20mm wide angle lens
