THis is a village hidden just behind the rocks surrounding the Temple of Hatshephut. While tourists arrive by the busload at the famous site, here they are rare, and you get some stares while walking in the village.

Bonsoir Daniel
amicalement

Hi Daniel,
Very nice colors and luminosity ! I also like the way you compose this one with the persons and the construction.

Hi Daniel
Nice to see beyond the obvious tourist areas and get a glimpse of real life. These two people are well positioned in the frame and balance nicely the village behind while creating a story. The colours and contrasts have come out well too.
Susanna

Excellent compo, I like the black silhouettes and the extremely picturesque brown house.

Andreea

Hello Daniel,
Great compo and nice framing. Very informative as well.

It is always very interesting to see life behind the tourist sight. And as usual, some of the westernized glamour is totally lost. But, even thou, people like to keep in touch with the world and we can see this in your photo. Just look at the two satellite dishes on the house roof. The picture is terrific with a good POV and excellent colours. Very good idea to include people on it. Well done.
Antonio

Amicalement, Christian

HI Daniel,
Nice photo! it looks very desolated there... I find this photo worth 10 sunsets on the pyramids. Your compo is good and the light is gorgeous! It looks a teeny tiny bit underexposed on my screen.
Good photo!
Nicolas

Hola Daniel.

Bonsoir Daniel,
I like the contrasts in this one.
Colors and tones are very pleasant too, as your clever compo.
Very nice,
Bonne soirée,
JB.

Hi Daniel,
so this is how it looks on the other side of those rocks!
I wondered, when I was there a few days before that horrible terrorist attack on the tourists in november 1997. I looked at the hills and I looked down at the bus parking, there was one single guard with a gun. And I was afraid that there could come terrorists from the other side of the rocks. Which was exactly what happened a short time after.
Interesting to see this picture of a rather isolated area.

Hey Daniel,

very nice framing here. The house and the two people balance and theres anie interaction between the two subjects. A very nice landsacep, which for me is more interesting with human elements: I could say the house is also a human element.

Hi Daniel

What soft colors. Nice comp and very sharp. The people are well placed. Good capture of daily life. Well done.
Ben

i hope not bad stares..!

tres belle image, Daniel, loin des clichés typiques touristiques

ciao

Daniel: really liking this image, because of the "ordinary" elements in your frame. Desolation and rural poverty seem to be the major themes here. Fine angle on an ordinary scene. Unique perspective. regards, c

Salut Daniel
