Photographer’s Note
More hieroglyphics from Kom-Ombo Temple in southern Egypt.
Name that God! Hathor's in there, I see Horus..
Sorry the top looks cut off, there was a big hole in the facade that I had to crop out.
The image is also sharpened.

Nice photo, I like the light, it brings out the nicely carved raised reliefs and hieroglyphics. It is a bit pity that the headgears of the deities are not visible, it makes it harder to indentify the goddesses. I think the one to the left behind Sobek is Hathor, she was his consort at Kom Ombo. The other two are probable the goddesses Isis (left) and Nepthys (right) protecting and presenting the king, the earthy incarnation of the god Horus, to Sobek.

These are always interesting motifs to observe. Good colors and textures, as well a nice light creating those shadows which enhance the sculptures. In this case I think you could have explored especially the details and textures, by isolating a hieroglyph or a detail of a hand or face, which is much rare to see than the full view of the writings (which could have been shown in a WS).
