Photographer’s Note

The sun was setting and the last few dozen tourists were wandering around the Egyptian temple at Kom Ombo.

Meanwhile, outside, the stallholders were biding their time, waiting for that last chance to get some sales, before calling it a night.

From our boat, moored against the foreshore, I had the ideal opportunity to catch events as they unfolded.
