Photographer’s Note

The cruise boats on the Nile look very busy during the day. At a very early hour, when the breakfast is getting ready, the boats' main visible activity is trash collection.
As we are getting close to Edfu, I woke up to the human voice and movements just outside my window, where there is supposed to be the river. At eye level there is the trash collection boat. As the boat is literally touching the other side of the window it does not allow me to capture a full view, but I can take a photograph of the rising sun and the silhouette of the buildings further ahead.

Hi Ebru,

I really like this one, the colors are beautiful! I like the cloud patterns in the purple-orange sky and the black buildings. Well done!

The only thing I would ve changed before posting is the horizon: you could change the picture a lot if you straighten (and center) the horizon.
