Pic taken inside the Edfu Temple.
The Temple of Edfu is an ancient Egyptian temple located on the west bank of the Nile in the city of Edfu which was known in Greco-Roman times as Apollonopolis Magna, after the chief god Horus-Apollo.It is the second largest temple in Egypt after Karnak and one of the best preserved. The temple, dedicated to the falcon god Horus, was built in the Ptolemaic period between 237 and 57 BCE. The inscriptions on its walls provide important information on language, myth and religion during the Greco-Roman period in ancient Egypt. In particular, the Temple's inscribed building texts "provide details [both] of its construction, and also preserve information about the mythical interpretation of this and all other temples as the Island of Creation."There are also "important scenes and inscriptions of the Sacred Drama which related the age-old conflict between Horus and Seth." They are translated by the German Edfu-Project.The temple of Edfu is the largest temple dedicated to Horus and Hathor of Dendera. It was the center of several festivals sacred to Horus. Each year, "Hathor travelled south from her temple at Denderah to visit Horus at Edfu, and this event marking their sacred marriage was the occasion of a great festival and pilgrimage.

Complimenti Luciano per questa eccelente vista. Mi piace molto l'armonia dei colori e l'inquadraura. Ma mi piace sopratutto l'uomo molto ben captato che dà un'bel ellemento di vità l'immagine.

ciao luciano,
devo dire che qs. tuoi giochi di luce egiziani mi piacciono molto, riesci a guidare lo sguardo in una direzione precisa e c'e' (quasi) sempre un elemento umano che aggiunge qualcosa alla foto. come in questo caso - sembra una scena tratta da uno dei tanti film ambientati tra le rovine egiziane... molto scenografica!

Ciao Luciano, complimenti per la galleria dall'Egitto,
ma con questa hai passato il limite sconfinando nella magia più spettacolare.
La luce sulla figura umana probabilmente c'era ma l'HDR ha inciso in modo determinate procurando questo bagliore su cui si concentra la teatralita e la scenografia dell'immagine.

Bravo. Riesci a dar vita attuale con intelligenza e occhio fotografico eccellente ( e suppongo fulmineo) a soggetti archeologici che di vita ne hanno tanta, ma tanta alle spalle. Quest'uomo sorridente e tutto illuminato di sole é bellissimo, nel suo gesto caloroso ed entusiastico. Esprime un calore vitale gioioso. Bel colpo. Luciano!

Ciao Luciano, ti sei svenato a dar mance, senza bakkish i fellah in posa non ci si metton mica, ne so qualcosa io che a forza di mille lire ci ho speso un capitale, però ne è valsa la pena che senza la comparsa sarebbe stata una foto d'architettura ben fatta ma banale, splendida luce, bravo, ciao Silvio
