Photographers Note
Better to be there when the light is low. I was lucky to visit Edfu Temple before the sun changed its position. It creates deep shadows and all carvings on columns and walls come out better. This picture was intented to show the " Chiaro-Scuro " effect. The attendant is jut a detail.

Burcu

Merhaba Hocam;

Hi Izzet
Once again, what impresses me is the way you show an historical place. It seems surprisingly very quiet, even if I imagine it is overcrowded with visitors, and the attendant even seem to be surprised to see you here. I like the movement you captured, the position of his neck and his face, half in the shadow, half in the sun, as the walls. Well done.
Regards
Marine

Hi izzet
I agree with you for waiting to get the light, but I disagree for the attendant, he is not a detail, he is the subject of your photo, and the temple in the background helps to locate the situation of this person.

Hello Izzet Bey,
The composition, the way you play with light and colors is just amazing. The man's headscarf, looks absolutely superb. Wonderful photo.

Hi Izzet!
it is perfect, fantastic!
And the blue turban capturs the eye, but not too much!
Thank you, very clever as usual!

Hi, Izzet -
Chairaoscuro is definitely a favorite effect of mine. This one has, to my mind, more light than usual, but because of the attendant's position relative to the shadows, it does qualify. So I don't think of him as a detail, but as the element that makes this photo stand out. (And it took me a long time to realize that including people in an architecture or landscape shot often enhances the image.)

Dan

Merhaba Izzet.
Again an impressive work with the composition and with the light. The moment is magic and this is another lesson from you.
