Photographer’s Note

After some nubian daily life scenes from the west bank of the river Nile in Aswan, it's time for presenting a general view from above. As you can see, the dominant color is this same blue that remind me of Jodphur city in India or Chefchaouen in Morocco, and you could see it well from a close approach in my last post from this place.
Notice a man on a camel passing to the right side in direction to the Nile river, and a woman dressed in black going to the left side towards the village.
I often caught the public ferry to this side and got lost in these villages, far away from tourists. The fact is that the traditional architecture of their houses was very attractive to my eyes, along with the people. These villages can't be seen from the center of Aswan, on the oposite margin of the Nile, since they are hidden behind the palm groves that flank the river. It was a nice surprise for me to find this off the beaten tourist track, which happened almost by accident when I decided to climb a dune to see Aswan from above. It isn't mentioned in any touristic book, but I found it one of the most interesting places to visit in Aswan.

WS1 - another view to the right of this one with the sight of the Nile and the other margin of the Nile.

WS2 - A wider angle from a more distant POV showing a general view of what you see here.
