Wherever you are in Aswan, whether on the East Bank of the Nile or Kitchener Island, this dominating structure is sure to be visible on the landscape around you.
The Mausoleum, dedicated to - and housing the body of - the Aga Khan, definitely fulfils the things it was meant to; impose and impress all those around.

Very interesting place that I have never even heard of...I guess that is what TE is for in the first place! Nice layering in the shot...the eye looks at the main building first, then the smaller one in back, and then the river. I have posted a workshop that brightens things up a bit. Nice work!
