The Nile is literally awash with boats. From the large cruising ships through to the broken doors and makeshift paddles used by children looking to make a quick buck, the vast majority of vessels that travel the length of this great river are designed with tourists in mind.
Here, in Aswan, two feluccas carry holidaymakers to and from Kitchener Island with the world-famous Movenpick Hotel in the background.
