Photographer’s Note

This amazing statues of The Great Temple of Ramesses II at Abu Simble, was builded in 1260BC; sandstone; depth within the rock 60 metre.

Abu Simble represents the absolute pinnacle of the architecture of the Nubian rock temples. The facade, which takes the form of a pylon, is dominated by four colossal seated figures, 22 metre tall.

I used my first filmed Olympus SLR to take this picture and then converted the negatives into digital image. I sincerely hope the quality of the picture is not to bad.

The shutter speed used was 1/500sec with aperture f11.

Any comments are most welcome. Thank You. Regards, Andrew.
