| Taken in the square in front of the Al Hussein Mosque in Cairo. I was told that the columns in front of it actually open up like an umbrella. This is right next to the oldest market in Cairo, the Khan al-Khalili. Funny story on this day. When I left the factory in 6th of October City, I looked in the sky towards Cairo and saw what I believe to be rain clouds. I asked the owner of the factory if it was supposed to rain today, and he said that it never rains in Cairo during this time...so off we went to Khan al-Khalili. As we walked around, it actually started raining! My workmate looked at me and told me that if I ever quit the company I could come to Eqypt and be a weatherman :) |
