Photographer’s Note
I liked the way the colours were struggling to shine through caked on pollution on these Cairo suburb apartments.
As an aside, the shot was spoiled by the "jaggies", in an attempt to soften these, I came across "diffuse glow" what a wonderful filter, on this occasion it has "blown out" the window below the man, but future projects will be to capture scenes which lend themselves to this filter, a very subtle way to add an artistic touch to a photograph than the more contrived watercolor, sketch, canvas et al (IMHO)
Look forward to any comments,
Tony.

Great mix of dirty and pastel colors. Great mix of geometric shapes, too. The text on the wall/signs breaks the rhytm of the windows nicely. And the man is a great addition. I like this shot very much.

And yet the center of Cairo has a splendid architecture built between 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. About the middle of the 20th century the quality of architecture is frankly afflicting. I suggest you documenting you on this interesting site.
