A very impressive cityscape, Ayman. Even though the Cairo tower may have given you limited options for composition, I really like the result you achieved. There are different ways of exploring this shot: following the roads that are going in all kinds of directions, following the water, or just let the eye wander between the tall structures, like the skyscrapers in the foreground, or the chimneys in the back. Nice colors and light. The picture looks like it could stand a very slight rotation to the left. Well done, and thanks for sharing this view.

Nice. It's a truly TrekEarth moment, as you said, to show the other side of Cairo. It's a little adventure in itself to look at the picture and discover what's in there ... the hustle and bustle of the city is felt.

Certainly a different view of Cairo. It's not what those of us who don't know the city expect. The tower blocks show the modern aspect of a city best known for its history.

Well, you revealed to me a Cairo I would never guess. So metropolitan, not desertic. We have this wrong feeling about some places (Brazilians always get mad because foreigners usually come here thinking of finding only snakes and indians walking around at the cities). It's a great view, Ayman. The only detail that bothers me a bit is that terracota building at the left side. But I understand that if you crop it away, you would be cropping that nice bridge too. So never mind. Great shot. Thanks for sharing.

A great light on this cityscape, I think that there are some shadows of clouds that make the darker and brighter parts of the city. It gives a lot more life to the picture then a flat light from a clear sun. (If I´m right) I think I would sharpen a little more and crop on the left a bit. Well done Ayman and say hello to your daugter for me!

Je ne reconnais plus la capitale que j'ai quitté en 1974, je constate une forte sururbanisation qui a été installée en sacrifiant le bon cadre de vie où les autoroutes sont trop proches des habitations.
I do not recognize any more the capital that I left in 1974, I note a strong extensive urbanization which settled with the detriment of the tally of life where the motorways are too close to the buildings.

I have always saw picture of pyramids in Cairo but never of the city. The brighness is good but it could be a little sharpened. That an interesting view of "daily" Cairo! Well done!

When I went to Cairo I tool several shots from one of these towers (but my scans are not so good as your pic).
This is a nice overall view. I suppose that, thanks to a colder weather, you could catch this blue sky without the effect of pollution during the hot days.
A very good pic Ayman.

This is a very interesting and unknown (to me) face of Cairo. So you say there's a 69 floors tower in Cairo? I thought our Ramat Gan City Gate Toer is the highest in the middle east! I would like to see a photo of this tower.
It's also a great oportunity to explain us what wee see, and give us some details about this amazing city, so I recomment to you -improve your note.
Well done.

I must say this is the most interesting photo of Cairo I've seen for ages! Why? Because we see it also as a modern city with life of it's own and not only around the typical, pyramids, etc.
Nice point of view with good details. Could be a bit more sharp.
If you have the chance you could shoot some photos of the modern daily life in Cairo. It would surprise many...
